As you may have heard a couple of weeks ago when Sheila Selby came by the show, the Joe Val lineup is now public, and Sheraton hotel-room rush date is coming up next Tuesday. Remember, the rooms sold out in something like seven minutes last year.
Here’s the official word:
29th Joe Val Hotel Rooms and Tickets
The 29th Joe Val Bluegrass Festival takes place February 14 – 16, 2014 at the Sheraton Framingham. We’ve got a super weekend in store and we’ll announce the lineup next week. Meanwhile, mark your calendar as tickets and Sheraton hotel rooms go on sale on-line Tuesday evening, November 19 at 7 PM. Visit the Joe Val Festival page for details as they unfold. More info here.
Wait, yep, here is a tease of what’s in store. The usual tasty gumbo of top national band and regional bands across two stages, over fifty workshop and education programs, and round the clock picking. Here’s a partial listing of bands scheduled to appear – The Gibson Brothers, Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice, Special Consensus, The Spinney Brothers, Sister Sadie, Acoustic Desert Rose Band Reunion with Chris Hillman, Herb Pederson, John Jorgenson, and Bill Bryson, Balsam Range, IIIrd Tyme Out, Chris Jones and the Night Drivers, Detour, and much more.
PS That’s last year’s JVF logo up top. When will we see the new one? /CL
